With its golden oat-and-almond crust, jewel-toned raspberry layer, and snowy white chocolate topping, it’s a showstopper that looks like it belongs on every holiday table. Best of all, it’s refined sugar free—sweetened naturally with Mānuka honey and other whole-food ingredients.
Whether you’re hosting Christmas dinner, bringing a dish to a festive gathering, or looking for a dessert that feels both celebratory and nourishing, this tart is the perfect choice. It’s rich without being heavy, and its ruby-red raspberry layer brings the color and cheer we associate with the holidays.
Why It’s Perfect for the Holidays
Christmas desserts are all about indulgence, but that doesn’t mean they can’t also be wholesome. Using Mānuka honey instead of refined sugar makes this tart a better-for-you treat that doesn’t compromise on flavor. Honey not only adds natural sweetness, but also provides trace nutrients and a unique depth of taste that pairs beautifully with chocolate and berries.
The garnish possibilities—fresh raspberries, sugared cranberries, pomegranate arils, or snowy dustings of coconut—give it a festive flair that looks straight out of a holiday magazine spread. It’s the kind of dessert that makes your Christmas table sparkle while keeping ingredients simple and seasonal.
