Raw Wildflower Honey 12oz

This honey is now part of my daily routine...the flavor is crazy good...knowing that it is clean (free of chemicals) and unpasteurized is what I want for my best health. Steens provides fast shipping and a great product.

This is delicious wildflower honey from New Zealand. This is NOT the famous manuka honey. I have tried several Steens honey & have loved every one. This one has lots of flavor & the honeycomb is blended in so you get the wonderful comb flavor with the honey. It is unpasteurized so you get all the healthy goodness of the honey.The container is BPA-Free plastic so it arrived unbroken. I like glass jars but I prefer it arriving intact so I am fine with these jars.

A product of New Zealand this delicious wildflower honey has a distinctive flavor that is slightly herbal and a bit less sweet than the regular honey available in the USA. The honey is raw and unpasteurized and the texture is creamy and opaque rather than transparent. These things are subjective but I find the difference in taste noticeable but subtle and delicious. It is good in tea, spread on warm toast, drizzled into yogurt or a smoothie, etc. Excellent.

We liked the consistency and the taste of Steens Premium Native Wildflower Honey. It's a bit more opague than regular honey, but (I assume) because it has the comb blended it. The honey comes in a wide mouth plastic jar - won't break or chip and easy to reach every last drop. It's a bit expensive, so we don't use it for cooking or baking, but enjoy it on toast, yogurt or cereal.
