One Sweet Day with @brooke.clean.eats

In our series of journal entries, we follow six people through their daily routine. Foodies, beauty lovers, bakers, healthy living fans, there is inspiration for everyone! With insights into how Steens Manuka Honey fits into their daily routine, we get to see how it benefits them in a number of ways – some more surprising than others! We will introduce a new person each week, so make sure you follow along.



Hi my name is Brooke Schwartz and I am a recent college graduate and soon-to- be law student from New York!!! I am passionate about cooking with healthy ingredients and maintaining a lifestyle centred around balance. When I’m not in the kitchen, you can probably find me outdoors taking long walks with my dog Lexi, enjoying Pilates and yoga classes, reading a good book, or spending time with family and friends!!

9:00 AM: I recently have cut coffee out of my life, and instead start each day with a cup of green tea with Steens manuka honey! I feel so much better since incorporating green tea into my routine!

10:30 AM: one of my favourite breakfasts is a yogurt bowl, and as a creature of habit, I have this every other day, switching off with protein smoothies! I like to start with a vanilla yogurt base, and top it with frozen wild blueberries and Steens manuka honey!

11:30 AM: my mom and I head to a class at Club Pilates, my current favourite workout class!!

1:00 PM: after Pilates, we go food shopping at Whole Foods to buy our groceries for the week and ingredients to make dinner!

3:00 PM: I got my absolute favourite lunch from Whole Foods… veggie spring rolls and a suja spicy lemonade!! I seriously dream about these spring rolls

6:00 PM: I start cooking dinner with my family! There’s nothing I love more than when we do family cooking nights at my house! Tonight we went for a taco night and I made a cabbage, jicama, and carrot slaw utilising Steens in the dressing for some sweetness! It was so delicious!!

I absolutely love incorporating Steens manuka honey into my daily life! As a healthy foodie, I appreciate how natural and healthy Steens is! For a bit of sweetness, I love using Steens in my dishes rather than alternative honeys or sweeteners. Not only is it a great sweetener and addition to my cooking, I have found using manuka honey on my skin as both a facial mask and spot treatment to be super effective!! I am really loving my Steens manuka honey!
